"My attention was first drawn to Jonathan`s work at the New Zealand `Best Design Awards`in 1999. I had been invited to join the product design jury for the awards in my then capacity at Porsche Design in Austria.

Jonathan`s work was high commended in two catagories: for stadium seating in the capital goods category and for his Fire Rescue Unit in the student category- which particularly impressed me. It is important to note that the student category displayed a very high standard even by international standards and this obviously reflects on the quality of Jonathan`s work."
