Home of Squadron 417, the best co-op wad I have ever seen. A lot of other great stuff, original wads (Area 51), and all the usual links.
- Gestalt666's Doom Page
Superb original wads, collections, and FAQs
- The All-Time Best Doom Levels
Self-proclaimed home for the best Doom wads. Of course, everyone has their own opinions, but this collection of levels is probably the best I've ever seen.
- The Roguelike Games Home Page
To quote from the site's introduction:
"A long time ago, on a computer system far, far, away, there was Rogue. Players wandered a dungeon, hacking and slashing at monsters, gaining treasures, becoming more powerful, and living their D&D nightmares.
Rogue was a good game; people still play it. It was even distributed with many copies of Unix. But rogue is a relatively simple and limited game compared to most of the descendants it has spawned... "
- The Omega Home Page
The toughest Roguelike game that I have ever tried.

Links to various binaries, source code, FAQs, spoilers, and other resources.

Just as it says. Searchable spoilers for Nethack.
- Ancient Domains of Mystery - ADOM Central
The game's official home page maintained by the game's author, Thomas Biskup. He is now developing JADE, another ADOM-like game; ADOM Deluxe a commercial version of ADOM; and ADOM RPG, a conventional roleplaying game based on the game.
- The ADOM Home Page
My favorite Roguelike game. It is developed solely by Thomas Biskup.

- Ancient Domains Of Mystery
- Roguelike News - Main
- Seeka's Page
- B A L R O G Erik I. Bolsøs Roguelike Information Site
- Stars - The Premiere Space Strategy Conquest Game
Probably the best shareware game I have ever seen (except for Doom). Although Stars is based on the typical colonise-the-galaxy-and-develop-new-technology formula, the variations and gameplay are as close to perfect as you can get. Interestingly it is developed in a similar way to many Roguelike games, in that a small group of people have developed the game over a long period of time mainly for their personal pleasure (of course they are making money now, but when I downloaded the demo, basically the only limitations was in customization and game size).
- The Civilization Page
A site for all the Civilization games including the board game and the two computer games by Sid Meier. These games were and are landmarks in computer strategy games.
- The Wargamer - Home Page
A comprehensive resource for classic wargames. Replay all the greatest military campaigns and try to do better than Alexander the Great, Rommel, or Schwarztkof.
- SimCity
The official home of the SimCity series of games. You can even play the original SimCity (now ten years young and still compelling) online.
- The Pinball Pasture
The home of the Internet Pinball Database which includes photos of over two thousand machines. Also general pinball strategies and links.
- Pin-Wizard Archive
Pinball tournaments and organizations, FAQs, links, and more.
