- The Gathered
This is an example as what has become known as an e-soap or an e-pisdoic. Again quoting from the site,
A group of young, good-looking adults (Generation Xers if you prefer) living in a house, dealing with life's daily trials. Okay, so the house isn't exactly a mansion overlooking the beach or a bunch of condos around a pool. It is a run-down cabin in the middle of the woods at night under a full moon. I'll grant you that one. And I suppose the use of the term "life's trials" could be replaced with "hell's fury" or "demonic wrath". And instead of worrying about things like which of your friends is going to get the big promotion, you have to worry about which of your friends is going to be decapitated. And instead of worrying about who likes who, you have to worry about getting a chain saw shoved up your ... well you get the idea. Okay so there are some slight differences. I admit it. But that doesn't mean we can't still have some fun. Right?
