Tui Morgans is situated just outside the picturesque town of Cambridge, in an area renowned for producing quality thoroughbreds. World famous Cambridge Stud is across the road from our farm. The lush Waikato pasture is highly nutritious, so young horses thrive & grow.
In 1986, after falling in love with the friendliness & beauty of the Morgan breed while living in Canada, we imported the first registered Morgans to New Zealand. Both were bred at Janzen Morgan Farm in Alberta. JMF Royal Secret was then a 2 year old colt, & JMF Beam Song was a yearling filly. Since their arrival, interest in Morgans has increased, & several other Morgans have been imported, adding to the NZ gene pool.
As well as breeding purebred Morgans, Tui Morgans aims to breed quality, versatile horses & ponies, based on Morgan, Arab, Thoroughbred & Riding Pony bloodlines. We are proud to have exported a Morgan/Thoroughbred Sporthorse mare to California, a Morab; Tui's Mayfair to Malaysia and five Morgans to Australia.
