SEXUALITY FOR SENIORS

A course of 10 sessions running weekly,

for men only , weekly from 16 July to 7 September, 2005.

for women only weekly from 1 October to  23 November, 2005.

The older we get, the more sexuality issues seem to change for us.

Medical technology and the consequential adaptation of laws have meant huge developments in the ways we are able to look at our own responsibilities, both to ourselves and to one another.

Coordinator Beth Webster works with several specialist assistants, to help us explore in confidence, those implications for our sexual health, that are embodied in the relevant legal changes effecting each of us over 50 years of age. And a couple specialising in sexual relationships , a medic comments on current treatments,

a specialist on vulnerabilities around sexually transmitted diseases, another on fertility studies , or DNA testing, rethinking gender boundaries, the intellectual, emotional, physical, social & generational   vulnerabilities and current relevant treatments available for the aging body.

Maximum number in each group: 7 men only or 7 women only.

Some scholarships available.

A separate mixed group is planned where men and women may explore and discuss relevant issues together.

Mens' Course :

Saturday 16 July, 9am - 4pm.

and then the following Wednesday mornings 9:30 – 12:30pm: 20 & 27 July, 3, 10, 17, 24,& 31 August, and 7 September.

Men's Early Bird  by 2 July; $900, 2005.

Women's Course:  

Saturday, 1 October, 9am - 4pm,

and then the following Wednesday mornings at 9:30 – 12:30pm : 5,12,19 & 26 October, 2, 9, 16 & 23 November.

Women's Early Bird  by 16 September; $900, 2005.

Each Course group meets in Epsom, after initial individual interview.

Fees payable in advance: $990 includes refreshments and papers.
