Anneli is a Librarian as well as a hard-working homemaker. She has three adult sons from her first marriage.

Born in Kontiolahti and brought up in Pieksämaki in central Finland, Anneli came to NZ some many years ago with her first husband (whom she met in England) and now loves NZ as much as her own country. Anneli is one of the founding members of the Auckland Finnish Society here in Auckland and encourages the use of Finnish by her children. (Alan, her present husband, has recently learned a few words of Finnish during their holiday in Finland.)
