We have 2 Adult children who currently live away from home. Tracey is a primary School teacher in a small county school about 50 miles (80 k/m) south of Hastings, and Jason is a Analyst Programmer who has just recently returned from London where he was working to further his career. His speciality is Java software development, but previously was developing in Oracle.

We live in a small rural city called Hastings, located on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand.

Subsequent pages will give brief descriptions about New Zealand, plus some more detailed information about the province of Hawke's Bay and the twin cities of Napier and Hastings in particular.

We have just returned from our first (and probably only) major overseas trip to the US, UK and Europe. The photo above was taken in Ireland during this trip. I have added a brief description on Page 8.

The last page contains some statistics about New Zealand. I have placed it at the end as not everbody likes facts and figures.
