Hi Dorothy The best book on this subject is ORCHID FLOWERS THEIR POLLINATION AND EVOLUTION by l van der Pijl and Calaway H. dodson published by the University of Miami Press 1966 Library of congress catalogue no 66-28521. A good library should have this publication despite its age. This publication gives the best coverage of the subject that I know of.
