New Zealand has some 120 different native orchids, and a specialist orchid group, The New Zealand
Native Orchid Group, specialises in the study of these plants.
It publishes a quarterly Journal with authorative articles on these plants and on areas of common
imterest.The annual subscription is $25 in NZ. $30 elsewhere.

This publication costs members of the Group $20, and is highly recommended as a field guide.
The Editro fo the Journal Ian St George has produced a commercially available full illustrated with colour photographs
guide to the NZ Native orchids. This publication is highly recommended.
Within the country is costs around $50 from booksellers. Basicly it is a colour version of the above publication.
The official NZ Native Orchid Group website has a lot of information on these
interesting orchids. A number of Journal articles are also published there. This site is run as part of its Australian
counterpart.
