Māori Keyboard Layouts - Custom Keyboards

These are keyboard layouts requested by people or organisations that I've put together.

Unless you know what you need, I recommend that you use the New Zealand Māori (Alt) Keyboard Layout from the Download page.

The names of people or organisations on this page are used purely for reference, and do not indicate an endorsement by those persons/organisations of this site or any of it's contents.

These keyboard definitions are based on the basic English (US) keyboard, and use the left bracket '[' key as the dead key to generate macrons.
Two definitions are supplied here:

The Te Taura Whiri definition supports macrons by using the [ then Key method only.

The Te Taura Whiri Combo definition allows macrons to be generated using both the [ then Key method, and by using the [AltGr] (Right Alt) key in conjunction with the vowel.

Source files are also supplied, for those who are interested. You don't need these if you just want to use the keyboard layout.
