I have sketched and drawn almost continuously since childhood. I have never studied it seriously as this truly is a hobby for me. Some mental and physical therapy when I'm stressed or simply in the mood to make something less time consuming than full scale costume work.
I then discovered polymer clays and started to work with that to create figures. And quite recently I discovered the art of doll customising and the discussion groups full of wonderful information and artists.
And finally I found my own voice in mixed media, combining fabric and airdrying clay to create small companions.
