John Anderson Boyd and Alice Maude Gibson


Farmed at Hapuka, top end of Jordon River, Kaikoura, South Island. Sold farm and moved to Nth. New Brighton, Christchurch, then lived at 20 Glade Ave., Ch.Ch. She was a very short/small lady, very kindly. She was so short that she kept stilts about 2ft long around the house and used them to reach things. In particular when making beds, reaching across the bed to flick up the blankets because she couldn't reach
