George sailed to New Zealand in 1984 on board the Douglas. Walking up Willis Street Wellington He tapped Elizabeth on the shoulder and said "I've found you again. Lets get married.". Shortly after ther moved to Wanganui, where, in 1880, George did a vanishing act shortly after the birth of his daughter. He hasn't been located to this day (2000) Found George as passager on the Ringarooma landing Sydney 31 Jan 1881 (2008) Elizabeth moved to England from Ireland about 1870 before coming to NZ on the Waikato in 1874
