TIKANGA O TE MARAE
A marae is a place for our People.
It is my home where I belong and
so I can do what I want
but you know I‘ve got to follow
the rules.
We need our marae for a many reasons;

that we may remember and weep for
our ancestors
-
pray to god
-
have our feasts
-
house our guests
-
have our meetings
-
have our weding
-
have our reunions
-
sing, dance
and then know the richness
of life and proud heritage which is truly ours.
