The Free East Timor Coalition (FRET) is a national coalition of five local groups in New Zealand who support a free East Timor.

Support includes attempting to alter New Zealand Government policy on East Timor, raising the awareness of New Zealanders through street actions, the media and petitions, and hosting local and international speakers.

The web site has contact details for all groups, detailed information on East Timor, especially in relation to New Zealand foreign policy.

Groups can sometimes provide speakers for schools.
Some of the groups also have a library of books and articles which may be available on loan.
