Genevieve Gill is the principal of a commercial law practice specialising in Information Technology Law and Commercial Contract Negotiation.  Originally from Canada, Genevieve has been practicing law in New Zealand for more than ten years and Information Technology Law exclusively since 1993. 

Prior to commencing sole practice, Genevieve was employed as Legal Counsel to the New Zealand subsidiary of a large multinational IT vendor, and later was in private practice with one of New Zealand’s largest law firms.

Genevieve provides pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to both entrepreneurial and established businesses.  Her depth of experience with information technology contracts has provided her with an excellent understanding of current industry practice and insight into industry developments and trends.

Genevieve is a regular speaker at industry-related conferences and seminars.
