I am your host and raconteur at the Grandview !  Born in Australia and  brought up in Sydney and spending  my later life in Brisbane and the Gold Coast I am you could say quite well traveled throughout this part of Australasia, My father  was born and raised in Auckland and my mother a Sydney girl!  They were married in Christchurch so you may say I am a genuine lad from DOWNUNDER, My interests in life include a passion for boxing refereeing and judging I have been fortunate enough to be called upon to officiate in many world class fights in various corners of the globe over the past 15 years including 14 World  Title Fights. I am also a avid motorcyclist  and been involved in the Motorcycle industry for 25 years, I am a BIKER from way back and have raced MOTO-X at the highest level. At the age of 40 I discovered the beauty of Dunedin and decided to make it home. Since my arrival I have met my fiancée Ann who also takes an active part in adding that "SPECIAL" woman's touch at the Grandview. Ann is a professional Dressmaker and Designer of Soft Furnishings and is a genuine South Island KIWI girl who loves everything about Dunedin except the cold weather!
