Nature took this tiny life
I laid her on the bed
I covered her, I tucked her in
Then kissed her little head

Nature couldn't find a cure
Nature didn't care
Nature cruelly swallowed her
Too much for me to bear

Nature brought her to my womb
Nature gave this gift
Nature taught me how to love
When things got so adrift

Nature isn't good or bad
It's not in our control
Accepting that and being at peace
Is what can make us whole.
