PEACE


An angel came to see me
Came knocking at my door
She brought some love to share with me
Could not have asked for more


She said "I've come to guide you
This Christmas there'll be pain
'Cause you'll be thinking of someone
Not seen on Earth again


Someone who is with God now
Though gone away from you
Whose suffering has ended
You did all you could do"


Then suddenly peace found me
A glow came over me
I knew at Christmas I'd be fine
I'd learn to let it be.
