Blue Line Tubing Blue Line tubing is a natural rubber based range produced on modern extrusion equipment for maximum processing control and product quality. Improved material formulation and design provides a high standard of finish, dimensional stability and impact resistance, along with ease of positive fitting. Teat cup liners Skellerup makes a wide range of liners including Monobloc, Monokura, Smith and Reid brands. Recommendations on our product packaging ensure the best performance. Skellerup has an ongoing programme of research and development to support dairy farmers.

Milker Rubber Maintenance
Liners should not be expected to 'last a season'. Continual flexing eventually damages the liner surface, making cleaning more difficult. The greater the number of cows per cluster per milking the shorter the life.

The relacement period recommended by institutes around the world is 2500 cow milkings, or 6 months, whichever comes first.

New liners give:

Using liners longer increases the cleaning problem and can increase bacteria risk 12 fold. The recommended replacement programme (shown here as days between replacement) depends on the number of cows (horizontal axis) and the number of milking units (vertical axis).
