Welcome to the boring bit.
I'm not going to reveal my name because if you're at this page you're either someone I know anyway or someone I don't, and my mother told me not to talk to strangers. So I'm going by the likely gnome-de-plum of 'Wierdo' for the time being, although I have at times been known as 'Phish', 'Moose', 'Horace', 'Fred' (and several variations thereof), 'Pedro', 'Hector Alonzo von Dufflepud XLIII', 'Cedric Q. Rumpole-Auschenblatz-Hyphen-Camelhuf-Bilkington-Hyphen-Smythe XIV Jnr', and 'Oi, you!'
One of my friends asked if I had multiple personalities, but unfortunately I'm not that interesting, they're just multiple names for the same personality, occasionally accused of being me.
So what do I do? Basically I'm a full time computer nerd at Otago University (despite finding the first year computing papers are so mind-numbingly boring), or just at home where I probably achieve more. Like this website.
I lead a sheltered life...
Other than computing, I've been doing Psychology (Tell me about your childhood. Did you have a happy childhood? When did you first discover you hated your horse?).
And, as you've probably guessed by now, I was brought up on a wide variety of wierd humour (and Trivial Pursuit); things like the Goons, Wayne and Schuster, Victor Borge, the Two Ronnies, Monty Python, the Young Ones, and even Frank Muir.
Has anyone attempted to escape yet? There's always the escape button...
So what this has left me with in my late teens is a taste for puns and a subconscious even I worry about sometimes. Never mind, eccentrics are the happiest people...
I tend to congregate around other likely eccentrics (see some of my links) because people are so much nicer/more interesting/entertaining when they're not trying to be "normal". And really, looking at the world, who would want to be?
Alright, alright, I'm sorry, I just had to include the Big Red Button.
To keep me sane in my spare time, I dabble in a variety of things, computer-related or otherwise. This is probably evidenced by the wierd stuff found all over this site.
