My Two Cents

Welcome to 'My Two Cents'. This page will focus on issues ranging from ignorance (probably my own), to perhaps more controversial topics, which any brighter person just wouldn't tackle. This will stem from personal opinion (which I hope will be debated), observations, and queries about the ridiculous!

I invite you to email me, with comments for or against what I published here. I do not shun away from criticism, and in fact would enjoy your views. I will even post what people have to say, and if I get enough hits I may add a guest book.

At the bottom of the page I have included some of my own quotes. So sit back, and enjoy dwelling into the mind of Scott Walker. Despite what you may think, I really am an optimist, but pessimistic things are so much more fun to write about :-)

This weeks/months 'My Two Cents' queries the ridiculous.

Do people at the equator weigh more than their counterpart in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres?

Take some time to think about it. Those at the equator travel a greater circumference, thus rotation distance in any 24 hour period. Therefore wouldn't the gravitational pull apply greater downward force at the equator than those closer to the North and South poles. If this is true wouldn't they weigh more? I would appreciate any enlightenment to this dilemma.

Now, time for some of my thoughts.

'Today could be the new dawning - a day where people will look to the future and
wonder what the hell has been going on in the past.'

'In the good old days Society bred the illegitimate. Now it is illegitimate that breeds
    society.'

More to come...
