MESSAGE:
Dear Mr. Bailey,

On the following page is a copy of an email message sent to you on 7 December 1997, through the Wellington office of Federated Farmers. Copies were also emailed to Messrs. A. Polson and T. Lambie at the same time. On 16 December another copy was faxed to you at your personal address (above).
On both occasions, no acknowledgement of any kind was received by me, from you or any of the other parties concerned.
Taking into consideration the severity of the drought problems being experienced by numerous farmers, on the East coasts of both Islands, it is reasonable to assume that you, as president of Federated Farmers, would be sufficiently concerned about the welfare of your members to respond to my message and to ascertain what help could be provided.....

Regards,

John Porter
