TO :  Patrizio Bertelli, Prada Challenge

SUBJECT:   IMPORTANT / URGENT!   Do you want to win the America’s Cup?

.....The weather that Prada and the other semi-finalists have experienced over the past few days is not an accident. It is an example of the kind of work that I do with weather modification.
I have developed a unique weather modification technology that can change local weather conditions such as wind strength and direction. I am offering this knowledge and expertise to you should you wish to use it. [...]

SUBJECT:  AMERICA’S CUP – a new “secret weapon”.
Dear Sir Peter and Mr Bertelli,

Sorry to disappoint you both but I have tried to make it clear that Weather Modification must be taken seriously and not dismissed so easily.
The cancellation of today’s race due to insufficient wind is an example of how WM is critical in influencing the outcome of important sporting events such as the America’s Cup. I’m sure you both understand that now. [...]

SUBJECT:  AMERICA’S CUP – a new “secret weapon”.
Dear Sir Peter and Mr Bertelli,

Further to my earlier fax today.
I should have made it very clear that the offer of weather modification had a catch. Whether or not either of you accepted or declined the offer, weather modification would still play a critical role in this competition. Perhaps, I should have given you more time to consider the implications. [...]
The situation is that there are three rivals for the Cup. The goal for TWM is 5 race cancellations to win. That seems impossible. [...]

P/S  By the way, here are the results to date.
AMERICAS CUP – RACE DAY 1 – RESULTS
TWM - 1

SUBJECT: America’s Cup Vs Weather modification – Update on 24 Feb report.
ATTENTION: TV News Teams

Further to my fax of 24 February.
Another lovely day and another cancelled boat race. 50% race days lost for the finals apparently – not a bad percentage considering this is the first AC competition that weather modification has been used and the first time that TWM has entered as a “competitor”.
Results to date? So far TWM has 3 cancellations to Team NZ’s 3 wins.
