ACHC New Zealand aims to provide social contact between adults with congenital heart conditions. In the future this could take the form of organised coffee get-togethers, outings and activities.

This is a chance to share experiences and grow in knowledge about our heart conditions. The purpose of ACHC New Zealand website isto provide links with other agencies that may be beneficial to you, to share stories, and to met up.

ACHC New Zealand is not being set up to make our heart conditions the central focus of our lives, nor to create an elite group. There is a life outside our hearts, and that's the way it should be. We want to encourage each other in active, rich lives. However we also do not mean to suggest that we always feel brave and able to keep up with others. ACHC recognises our achievements, and acknowledges that we also need support, understanding and encouragement from others who understand these issues, especially when faced with the extra challenges.
