09/04/03 I haven’t forgot about this site or
my cabinet but the job situation or lack of one has become real critical, so
cabinets and MAME are not even on the back burner there off the god dam stove
for the time being . But there are some positive things happening so hopefully I
will be able to finish off my upright and start a cocktail soon and get some new
pictures

05/03/03 I need a job so MAME related stuff is
on the back burner added a FAQ page as in NZ I seem to be one of the few people
trekking this path if you have any questions email I may add your question to
the FAQ to help people out I don’t mind getting emails there is no stupid
questions only stupid mother in-laws and I love to help where I can if I don’t
know the answers I will point you in the right direction .I want to build a car
racing/ plane / spacecraft cabinet been looking at different controls more to
come on that soon But am looking for parts to build a cocktail cabinet I know my
brother may be keen on one so I may build a couple to sell to friends .oh
yeah I have wrecked 3 hard drives looking for the right drive to make a spinner

This site is dedicated to MAME (Multiply Arcade Machine Emulation ) and
Arcade Cabinets that some people like me build to house computers .
Why MAME cause its a cheap option even in a cabinet you buy all the PCB and
cabinets and you need somewhere to house them all you need to be dam rich a new
Pac man cabinet from the USA is $4500 usd
You can build the MAME cabinet from hell for $1000usd and that's with
everything good sounds few games ... If you find a good original Pac man defender
cabinet its not a good idea to do a MAME conversion these are worth a lot of
money still .
But dude there's Play stations and Xbox's why the hell build a machine to
play Pac man you ask. Midlife crisis for geeks its like a hot rod or restoring a
car its reliving your youth I do own a Xbox and I like playing it but there's
nothing like the rawness of these old arcade games . MAME is a way to relive and
keep these games alive
