Christchurch is situated about halfway down the East Coast of the South
Island & is the largest city in the South Island. The province we are
in is called Canterbury & is very flat with the Southern Alps bordering
our western boundry & the Pacific Ocean on the east. It is a temperate
climate. Cold sharp frosts in the winter & very hot nor west winds
in the summer.
It takes about four & a half hours to drive from the Pacific Ocean
beach to the other side of the island where The Tasman Sea is. If you want
to see more pictures of Canterbury or of Christchurch feel free to contact
me.
A small interesting excercise you may like to try.
