Cantando Choir, based in Hamilton, New Zealand, is dedicated to the performance of beautiful, inspiring choral music. The Choir was formed in 1987, and has since grown to close to 100 singers. We normally put on three concert series each year, covering an increasingly diverse range of musical styles from the great choral oratorios (recent examples include Handel's Messiah and Mendelssohn's Elijah) through opera choruses to Swing and Jazz. We are an unauditioned choir, and welcome new members. |
