Welcome to the World Tantrix Championship 2001 Plate Competition Home page. 44 entrants this year make the plate a very big competition indeed! You can view the results from the Preliminary Round and Round 1 here. The draw for matches in Round 1 on took place on the 9th of October and the first matches and game results available to date are listed below. Note: The number of games for each match in a round and the date when the round is to be finished are listed in the heading of the table below. To ensure that the competition finishes on time it is important that you play your games by the prescribed date for each round. If for some reason you will be unable to complete a set of games, please contact the organiser Phil.

WD is a win by default, LD a loss by default. X shows the match unplayed so Scarab took their place in the next round. * Sam withdraws.

A third place play off was played between Mighty and Ariel, Mighty won the 5 game match 50.9 to 49.1.

In the event of a player quitting this draw there is a replacement available in Murray Pharaoh (Scarab). If a Round 1 match is left incomplete, by the two players involved and I hear nothing from either of them then Murray will take that place in Round 2.
