                        Drivers 1400mm. 80Km/hr.
                        The first 4 locos were compared before the main batch
                        were built.  The gear drive required twice the power to
                        run above 30Km/hr.  All went to the D.R.
                        Withdrawn  by  about 1960.



    85.001-010. 1'E 1'h3T   20.1 T axle load. 10x locos built 1932-33.
                        Built to replace BR 95 (Pr.T 20) and BR 94 (Pr.T 16.1)
                        on ex rack lines.They were based on the BR 44 chassis and
                        the BR 62 boiler.
                        Drivers 1400mm. 80Km/hr. Withdrawn 1961.
                        85.007. preserved.


    86:          1'D 1'h2T.  15.6T axle load.  774x locos built 1928-43.
                        Drivers 1400mm.  Built for branch line goods service.
                        The first series were  built  with  Bissel  trucks,
                        while  later series had Krauss-Helmholt trucks. The
                        maximum speed was increased from 70 Km/h to 80 Km/h
                        with  this  improvement  while   the   length   was
                        increased from 13,820mm to 13,920mm.

                        rebuilt as a non-rack locomotive. Absorbed into the
                        DR in 1949 and renumbered.     Ex 97.401.


     97.401.    1'D 1'h2(4h)T   17.8 T axle load. 1x locomotive built 1922.
                        Class  Preuss.T28. Built as a replacement for class
                        T26 by Borsig.  Sold to ELE in 1929, and rebuilt
                        as a non-rack locomotive.   Absorbed into the DR in
                        1949 and renumbered 93 6576.
