Crown Crystal Glass (Christchurch)
Crown Crystal made glasses for Sanitarium, Kraft, Bray & Gossett and
possibly other manufacturers.
What came in these glasses? ( known products)
While the majority of these glasses had various forms of Peanut Butter, Marmite
or Honey in them many different and varied products have come in reusable
glasses over the years and below is a short list that covers most of the known
products.

NZ Flowers
(Sanitarium)
Glasses with New Zealand Flower designs are found in a number of different
glass styles and sizes.
There are 4 different patterns:
Pohutukawa
, Kowhai, Konini and Manuka
(Manukau is the hardest design to find and it may not exist across all the
different glass shapes and sizes)
The earliest glasses are the straight "fluted inside" style with the larger
designs.
Small
Medium
The tall version on the left is particularly rare - I have only ever found the
one glass in this size and glass style.

Large design and 2 sizes with flower name

- these lack the flower name
Rata

I have never found this design on any other size of glass and I have been told
these originally contained honey .
"Sputnik"

There are 3 distinct sizes in this pattern and a wide range of colours .
The medium "flared" top style of glass are the earliest type.
Yachts

There are 4 distinct sizes in this pattern and a wide range of colours .
I have only ever found the one glass in this particular style (short shotglass type with internal fluting) I believe its extremly rare.
