Ports of call and departure dates do not have to be adhered and are only suggestions in order that maximum flexibility is available to participants, although Napier is recommended before making passage for Wellington and it is encouraged one makes the muster at Picton. The decision to leave port, enter a port or anchorage, set sail and continue sailing at any given time is solely the responsibility of the Captains / Skippers of each individual vessel.
