The Bikes

These below are the actual pics I have taken of the actual bike(s) I have owned or are photo's I've picked up off the web - apologies in advance to anyone whose photo I have used...

#1 - 1974 Honda MT125 - bought in May 1980 for $750... rode the wheels off it, regularly fouled the plug, which slowed me down in a hurry... :-)

#2 - 1981 Yamaha XS 250 - bought new.... forgettable, underpowered, weighed a ton!

#3 - 1982 Yamaha XJ 550 - bought new, a real gem...

#4 - 1983 Yamaha  XJ 750 - bought new, not a patch on the competition of the time - shaft drive was nice though...

#5 - 1976 Yamaha RD 400 - bought 2nd hand (obviously!)  in 1984, had a habit of blowing the main fuse...

#6 - 1973 Suzuki GT250M - I was married with a young family by now... can ya tell? Still had to have 2 wheels though...

#7 - 1974 Honda CB 550 - bought in 1987 - a way to get back to a 4 stroke after those "smokers". Had this bike for 23 years...

#9 - 1997 Suzuki RF900R - bought in April 2009, a modern bike, awesome power...

#10 - 2006 Suzuki SV1000S - bought in August 2009 - oh the sound of that V-Twin! Fantastic bike, killed my wrists and butt though...

#11 - 2009 Suzuki M90 Boulevard - bought January 2010. Current wheels. What can I say? Beautiful flowing lines, chrome and grunt!
