PEATE
Current records trace my direct line to
Whittington (nr Oswestry), Shropshire, England in 1696.
The family lived in the Oswestry area -Lower Ridge farm, Preeshenlle, Pentreclawdd
- until around 1891.
In February 1892 William Peate
arrived at the port of Lyttleton, Christchurch, New Zealand.
They quickly moved to Te Awamutu in the North Island, and later to Auckland.

MASSON
David Masson was born in Leith, Edinburgh,
Scotland in 1841.
By Oct 1882 the family had emmigrated New Zealand, living at Paparoa, on the Kaipara Harbour.
SCHISCHKA
The SCHISCHKA family emmigrated
from Bohemia to New Zealand in March 1866.
They settled in Puhoi, north of Auckland.
