Melissa Nordhaus is definitely no stranger to the stage. She has sung in
many top bands, including "Ultra" and "Rikoche", touring
as their lead singer throughout Asia and the Middle East, including Vietnam,
Singapore, Macau and having the most fun at the Hard Rock Cafe in Dubai. With
a bubbly personality, and a fantastic voice, crowds love her.
She has also been involved in many, many musical theatre shows over the
years. In July 2009 she starred as "Eponine" in "Les Miserables"
at Centrestage Theatre.
Additionally she performed the lead in "Miss Saigon" during
October 2009 - and is the first NZ to perform the lead role (usually imported
from overseas).
She also appeared twice on Prime's "NZ's Got Talent", the second
time she was invited back to appear on the finals by notoriously tough judge
Paul Ellis. Richard Driver said this of Melissa:
"Melissa
- that was a beautifully poised, very professional, extremely heartfelt and
dynamic version of a classic well-known song. I thought ‘what a choice
of song’ but you actually gave it a whole new breath of life I - think
it was thoroughly fabulous.”
Melissa

fronted stage show.
