for new Adult students?
A. Our adults classes have
all grades participating,
and are designed so new students of all skill
levels can comfortably join in and learn. Click here for schedule
Q. Won't everyone else be better than me?
A. Instructors give new students
more assistance
while they get better, and all our members are
trained to concentrate on their own training - and
not get distracted with what others are doing.
Q. Is it hard to learn?
A. Our beginner grades are
designed to be easy
for all age groups and skill levels to quickly learn.
Q. How tough is it physically?
A. We try and make sure everyone in
class
gets a good workout, regardless of their fitness level.
Training is designed to make it easy to
adjust your level of effort without feeling out of place.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Comfortable training
clothes
- nothing fancy is required for a start -
just something you can move comfortably in.
No shoes are necessary, as we train in bare feet.
For safety reasons please avoid wearing anything
with domes, buckles, or anything that may scratch
another person, our mats, or yourself.

Is there
anything I should bring?
A. We recommend a drink bottle
that won't spill if knocked over. Q.
How do I know
if Modern Karate is right for me?
A. We give all new students
two free classes to try it out.
