The incredible shrinking person. That's what we're all hoping for. When diets don't work any more, you can't buy clothes to fit, you're too big to easily fit into a seat on a plane, you begin to find even moving a problem, where do you go for help?

For some of us surgery seems to be the answer.

Surgery isn't an easy choice, there are risks and problems involved with it, and lifestyle changes are necessary. Some people tend to see it as a cop-out, and there are plenty of people ready to tell you it doesn't work. This mailing list is a place to discuss those problems, and the triumphs with people who have been there. Whether you've had surgery, and are living through the changes, or you're considering surgery, and want the opinion of other people this list is for you.
