As New Zealand's leading organisation involved in forest restoration, the Trust has acquired land at the rate of 250ha a year to protect important species, restore their habitats and to improve the quality of our waterways. It now has nineteen reserves throughout the North Island with a total of nearly 5,000ha of protected native forests.
As always, ongoing costs of reserve maintenance need to be met and such help is constantly sought and highly valued. If you would like to lend a hand in any way, please contact us.
