Description
The 8–in–1 remote control works just like the remote control units you’re
used to. It replaces up to 7 existing remotes, simply by punching in a
three–digit code from a manufacturer list provided. Furthermore, it can
control anything with infrared reception, like air–conditioners, by learning
individual buttons from existing remotes. It also allows you to have control
over all your X10 devices from the same handset.
Use this function to control your home theatre lighting, including dim/bright
functions. Is there too much noise coming from the sound system in your
children’s room? No problem, turn it down. The 8–in–1 Remote works through
walls and ceilings. The only problem is that your friends will want to spend
more time playing with the features of the Home Control Kit than watching
a movie.
The Lamp Module lets you switch and dim any incandescent lamp up to 300W.
The plug–in Transceiver Module captures your home control commands, which in
turn sends the X10 codes over your existing wiring to all your X10 modules and
switches. The Transceiver Module doubles as an appliance module and lets
you control any appliance up to 10 Amps.
Examples
Lights, camera, action. It’s 8:30 pm. You and your friends are gathered for a
night’s entertainment. You dim the lights, switch the stereo on, control the
air conditioning / heating and start the movie. All without leaving your seat.
