The PC
Receiver is needed for wireless interactive control using your PC.
In order to take advantage of
your PC remotely with wireless remote controls and other devices, such as
motion sensors, the PC Receiver is required to be connected to your PC. This
small device attaches to your serial port and monitors the wireless RF
signals around your home or office. When it receives the proper X10 signal,
it relays the instructions to the BOOM 2000 software which is running on
your PC. |

MP3 Anywhere is
an awesome wireless broadcast system that allows you to listen to MP3 audio
broadcast from your PC to any stereo in your home. It's 33 meter range makes
an ideal way to listen to great MP3 music anywhere in your home. The Boom
200 software operates on your Windows PC to act as a digital DJ. It uses the
play lists you've created in your favourite MP3 players and gives you remote
control interactive ability with your PC through the PC Receiver.
This makes it easy to remotely (ex. from your patio) change tracks, jump
ahead or behind, mute, stop and many other remote control features. The end
result is a powerful hand-held convenience to listen to MP3 audio (stored on
your PC) anywhere in your home!
DVD Anywhere is
designed for people who have DVD players on their PC but don't want to watch
a movie on a PC screen. Using the wireless video senders, DVD
Anywhere allows you to send the video and audio from your PC to a
television. Any size television will work with DVD Anywhere. And it includes
a Universal Remote Control that gives you remote control of the movie
playback. This is made possible with the PC Receiver and
Boom 2000 software.
SpeakerLink
allows you to turn any speaker(s) into wireless
stereo speakers – no additional receiver or
amplifier needed. Great for sending stereo music inside/outside the home,
enhancing home theater systems, & surround sound for PC-games. |
