Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

The Great Invocation is a world prayer, translated into 50 languages and dialects. It is an instrument of power to aid the Plan of God find full expression on Earth. To use it is an act of service to humanity and the Coming One. He is a World Teacher and is called by many names:the Christ, the Bodhisattva, the Lord Maitreya and the Imam Mahdi are four of them.  The invocation expresses certain central truths which all men innately and normally accept.

* That there exists a basic intelligence to Whom we give the name of God.
* That there is a divine evolutionary Plan in the Universe the motivating power of which is love.
* That a great individuality called by Christians the Christ- The World Teacher- came to Earth and embodied that love, so that we could understand that love and intelligence are effects of the purpose, the will and the Plan of God.

By means of invocation, prayer and meditation divine energies can be released and brought into activity. Men and women of goodwill of many faiths and nations can join together in world service, bringing spiritual value and strength to a troubled world. Men have the power, through focussed, united invocation to affect world events. Knowledge of this fact, scientifically applied, can be one of the great liberating factors within humanity. No one can use this invocation or prayer for illumination and for love without causing powerful changes in his own attitudes and life intention. " As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he."

We invite you to use this Invocation every day, with thought and dedication.

There are two versions of the Great Invocation, the original which comes first here and an alternative one. In either version, if required, the word "Masters" in the 3rd verse may be changed to "Master".

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into human minds
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into human hearts 
May the Coming One return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide all little human wills-
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the human race 
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

FURTHER INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS

In His book The Externalisation of the Hierarchy the Tibetan has this to say about the Great Invocation.

1. "Prepare men for the reappearance of the Christ. This is your first and greatest duty. The most important part of that work is teaching men—on a large scale—to use the Invocation so that it becomes a world prayer and focuses the invocative demand of humanity." The Externalisation of the Hierarchy-p.641

2. "I beg you to shoulder the responsibility of distributing the Invocation on as large a scale as possible and in every country. It is of great potency, and when used by men of all faiths can aid in the process of averting war..." The Externalisation of the Hierarchy- p.558

"My considered advice is that in its presentation to a definitely Christian public (as for instance to the ecclesiastics of all denominations) the third verse in the stanza be changed and that its last line should read: "The Purpose which the Master knows and serves," or perhaps "which disciples know and serve." The word "disciple" is an inclusive word, in the hierarchical sense; it is, at the same time, one easily recognised by the orthodox but offers no limitation to the esotericist. It covers every grade of human aspirant from the newly accepted disciple up to and inclusive of the Christ Himself." Discipleship in the New Age Vol. 11– p.157

These bookmarks can be sent to the various churches of the various denominations. A covering letter could accompany them and all addresses could be kept on a computer for further reference and for sending more bookmarks should this be required. A list of email addresses of those churches which respond positively could also be compiled.

PRODUCTION OF BOOKMARKS

Please feel free to download and distribute as many of the above bookmarks as you please as they were made for that purpose.

Should you wish to reproduce these bookmarks as part of your efforts to carry out the suggestions of the Tibetan you may do so by using one of the following methods. Once you have a first copy of what you require you can then print your own:

Bookmarks have been presented in two ways. In full colour background or with a mainly white background because it is less expensive to produce.

To Print the Bookmarks.

print them using your own printer
or   put them on a CD and get them printed by a printing or photocopying shop,
or   put a few on a floppy disk and get them printed at your local printing or photocopying shop
or   print one of each that you require and get more photocopied, (landscape in groups of four)
or   send them by email to your own printing or photocopying shop and get them to print them.

Note. To print your own on the paper/card recommended by printer manufacturers can be expensive. I have, therefore, printed some of my bookmarks on another card, (size A4, i.e. 210 x 297 mm.- that is, 11and 3/8 inches x 8 and 1/4 inches) that I found suitable, though perhaps not quite heavy enough. The weight of the card was 210 gsm. made by Dalton and it is called Pacesetter Offset. Many home printers cannot print such a heavy card. The home printer was an Epson Photo 830 colour printer. 

You can also get 250 weight card and/or a shiny finish card. Non-shiny card can also be laminated for greater durability. See a Photoshop or a printing firm for advice on weights and surfaces and prices.

Cutting of Bookmarks. There are two ways and you will need to specify which method you want used especially if you intend to laminate some of them. The first way is to cut the bookmark at its own edges and the second way is to leave a white margin of 2mm. or so around the four edges.

                                                                           La Grande Invocation

La Grande Invocation est une prière mondiale traduite en plus de cinquante langues et dialectes et employée par tous les membres des Triangles. Elle exprime certaines vérités fondamentales que normalement au fond d'eux-mêmes tous les hommes acceptent, c'est-à-dire:

Une intelligence existe, à laquelle nous donnons le nom de Dieu.

Un plan d'évolution divin régit l'univers, dont la force impulsive est l'amour.

Une grande individualité, appelée Christ par les chrétiens, l'Instructeur du Monde, vint sur terre incarner cet amour, afin de nous faire comprendre que l'amour et l'intelligence sont des effets du dessein, de la volonté et du plan de Dieu. Beaucoup de religions croient en un Instructeur mondial et lui donnent différents noms tels que Seigneur Maitreya, Imam Madhi et Messie

Le Plan divin peut s'accomplir sur la terre seulement par l'humanité.

Par le moyen de l'invocation, de la prière et de la méditation, l'énergie divine peut être libérée et amenée en activité. Des hommes et des femmes de bonne volonté, de foi et de nationalité différentes, peuvent se rejoindre dans le service mondial, amenant des valeurs spirituelles et de la force à un monde troublé. Les hommes et les femmes ont le pouvoir, à travers de l'invocation concentrée, d'affecter le cours des événements mondiaux. La connaissance de ce fait, scientifiquement appliqué, peut être l'un des grands facteurs de libération de l'humanité.

Personne ne peut utiliser cette Invocation ou prière pour l'amour, sans causer de puissants changements dans l'attitude et l'intention de vie.
