NEMESH SUMMER SCHOOL 2012, 7-14 January 2012, 11 AM - 5 PM every day

Day 1 (Saturay 7 January) - Guided Painting.
Process through which students will learn how to use palette knife, colour shapers and dry brush technique. By the end of the day students will have finished oil painting (click here to see samples from previous summer school).
Day 2 (Sunday 8 January) - Monocromatic still life, a different way .
By using colour shaper for sketching, students will learn a different way of painting still life (click here to see samples from previous summer school).
Day 3 (Monday 9 January) - Guided Sunset.
Building on blending technique from day one (click here to see samples from previous summer school).
Day 4 (Tuesday 10 January) - Monochromatic landscape.
Using one or 2 colours, students will produce guided landscape painting (click here to see samples from previous summer school).
Day 5 (Wednesday 11 January) - Layering in Green.
Using simple koru image as sample, students will be thought how to in one layer create image which looks multi layered using colour shaper and dry brush. (click here to see samples from previous summer school)
Day 6 (Thursday 12 January) - Monochromatic figurative painting.
First half of the day students will be practicing to draw the model with pencil on paper to enable them to get good feel of the contours of the body.
After lunch break, second half will be painting the model in oil using techniques students have learned in the previous days.
Day 7 (Friday 13 January) - Final day will be used to complete unfinished paintings from previous days and if there is time create a new painting of choice using techniques learned in previous days in a relaxed atmosphere (click here to see samples from previous summer school).
12 paintings will be photographed and placed on Nemesh's website.
