Want to help gather data on the kind of loot that monsters drop? Want to help show OSI that they need to fix luck? Want to just be cool and say you were part of the team that helped to really understand how luck works?

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED!

To start helping today, just follow these easy steps:

  1. 1) Startup easyUO and save loot_tracker.txt and save.js to separate files. The easiest way to save the tracker script is to just goto the link and select all, then copy & paste it into the easyUO script window. Then save it with filename "loot_tracker.txt". The save.js file is a javascript that writes the loot data gathered by easyUO to your computer's registry, and then to a text file. This is the only way to get the data from easyUO into a text file format. Because of the registry step, most anti-virus programs will scream bloody murder. When they do, just select the option to allow save.js to perform this task, and you shouldnt have any more problems from the anti-virus software. Make sure that both the loot_tracker and save files are in the same directory.

  2. 2) Whenever you go hunting load up loot_tracker.txt and start it running. The script will instruct you from there!

  3. 3) Kill as usual. Open corpse. Wait a second or two for the script to say its ok to take loot. Loot as normal.

  4. 4) Send the logfile, "loot_log.txt" to uomart@ihug.co.nz
