I have received some feedback saying the tables for damage output are useless.  I am waiting for specific reasons why the tables are useless, but guess it is because people want to see a javascript form to enter their player's skills and stats into and have the damage output calculated.  I may do this in the future, but frankly that is not what these tables are all about.  You can already surf to 1001 different javascript damage calculators on the web, and I did not want to duplicate something that is already available.  These tables are about seeing how changes in skills and stats relate to the amount of damage output per minute.  Eventually, I will post a series of graphs that show these relationships, but I thought the tables would serve as a good starting place for people who are interested in learning how to optimize their character templates.  But, if you must have something you want to enter your character's information into, then I have also posted an excel spreadsheet that allows you to enter skills and stats and calculate damage per minute.

On the menu bar you will see a new topic "BEST DAMN DAMAGE IN THE GAME".  This section will contain tables that show how skills, stats, and other other factors, e.g. weapon stats, influence the amount of damage you can deliver.  Currently, I have just two tables that are in a rough form.  I have the equations that generated the tables, but I have found that equations in javascript are often a real pain to load and code, so I decided to stick with tables.  Maybe in the future I will put the equations on the web so people can enter their own information to see what kind of damage they are doing currently.  Anyway, this is just a taste of things to come.  TABLE 1 is sorted based on ascending skill and stat values.  TABLE 2 is sorted based on most damage to least damage (MinDMGpM column).  The last two columns contain how damage changes with changing skill/stat values.  The weapon used is a longbow (mindamage=18, maxdamage=19, weaponspeed=25).  I chose to express the damage in minutes because it gives a good feel for how long things really take to kill.

Bless me father for I have ... errr .... uhm ... done stuff!  It has been 45 hours since my last Doom artifact, what am I doing wrong?  The short version: 1) wear high luck, 2) hunt with at most 4 people, and 3) PRAY!  The long version can be read over at Lords of the Eternal Realm.

Ok, now onto business matters...please stop scamming me with the PayPal credit card chargeback fraud.  It isnt very nice, especially since I use the money to pay for my kids daycare!  Enough said I hope.

Speaking of nasties...have you figured out the new dupe method yet?  People are duping artifacts, so the price should be plumetting soon *sigh*  Actually, I believe there are a few different dupe methods out, but they all involve a new form of blackholing.  Only the item is holed now, not the entire character.  Wonder if OSI can tract just the item holing yet?

So, OSI has finally realized how to make more money from their little product!  First it was with the advanced character services (btw UOMart accepts gold to purchase these services for your account), and now development of a feature allowing people to move their characters from one shard to another!  At an additional cost of course (OSI isnt sure how much it will be yet)!  I wonder if they have really thought about the long term effect this will have on the economy of UO?

Personally, I love the idea!  I have 25 or so decent accounts with characters on shards that do not really sell well.  I can just move the characters to shards where accounts sell well!  Good news for me *laugh*  Not to mention moving items between shards without having to use a broker.  Of course the amount of moving will depend on what OSI decides for a fee to perform this xshard character moving service.  Time will tell...

DOOM TIP OF THE WEEK:  The skeletal dragon can make your pet go wild!  My poor WW was 3 weeks old and fully trained.  Now he is gone!  O well, time to train another one.  When fighting the skeletal dragon make sure to feed your pet alot!!
