This site has been created to give a person who is interested in target shooting, information about what shooting is all about and an idea on what is needed to start.
Target Shooting covers all types of Shooting from Air Rifle, 22 Caliber Rifle, Pistol to Shotgun .
 

 

What is Target Shooting?

Target Shooting is using either a Rifle, Pistol, Air Pistol or Shotgun to Shoot Pellets / Bullets at a Target. In a safe environment.

 

The Target is either Paper, Card or Electronic for Rifle and Pistol, or for Shotgun the target is called a "bird".

 

 

With Rifle each target is worth a maximum of 10 points.

And in a Rifle & Air Pistol competitions you are trying to achieve the best possible score you can, out of a possible 600 points.

Who is the sport for?


Well this Sport is for the person who likes, accuracy, concentration, improving themselves, competition, discipline, travel, socialising, meeting new people and making new friends.

It’s a Sport that almost anybody can do, no matter what type of disability you may have.


When you get into Shooting you can get classified based on your Ability or Disability, this classification allows you to compete against people with similar physical or functional shooting ability as yourself.

In Rifle & Pistol there are 3 main Classifications SH1, SH2 and SH3

In Shotgun the Classification is a little different.
