Standing Position
This Shooting Position has the shooter either actually Standing or
Sitting but supporting the rifle without the use of there upper body
leaning on anything (except maybe the back of your chair). Depending
on your classification SH1 or SH2 you are allowed different pieces
of equipment to aid.
An SH1 Shooter in the standing position must support the rifle
solely with their arms and upper body, they are not allowed to let
there elbows touch anything except the inside of their Jackets. An
SH1 shooter is also not allowed to use a Shooting Stand or a
Shooting Table in this position
An SH2 Shooter in this position has the same rules with regards to
not letting their elbows touch anything for extra support, but they
are allowed to use a Shooting Stand to support the weight of the
Rifle.

Prone Position
The Prone Position has the shooter using a table, this can be either
attached to their Wheelchair or Free standing.
The shooter can then lean on the table for support as they hold
their rifle. Depending on your classification SH1 or SH2 you are
allowed different pieces of equipment to aid you. Either a Sling or
a Shooting Stand / Spring.
An SH1 Shooter in the prone position, can use a sling attached to
their rifle to aid them in supporting their rifle, they also can
have both their elbows on the table
An SH2 Shooter in the prone position uses a piece of equipment
called a Stand or Spring, this equipment has to be ISCD approved and
is stamped to ensure it meets, correct specifications, Depending on
your exact classification will govern how much flexibility your
spring can have. |
