Background and Information about the list.

The files were started 30 September 1990 and updated since then as names and references became available.

1/ Names are listed according to the earliest written record or family information obtained.

Note.

It may very well be not the date that the person arrived in Morrinsville, in one case the written record is known to be a 20 year difference between arriving and the first written record that I found.

2/ Departure date is either the date of death or the date recorded  as leaving the district.

3/ Further information or a photograph of the subject is held in the Morrin Museum by the addition of a asterisk ( *) after the name.
 

4/ The references used in the texts are as follows;    (NOTE ) some of the references are more than one letter and are self explanatory )
