1 11 11 CLUB NEWS Ashburton Chess Club The Club finished its season with a fun night and presentation of trophys. A frendly ? lightning tournament with no prizes saw some hillarious games and one real gem a nine move mate by Jessica Pelayo over a unnamed senior player.After five games we broke to enjoy a very delicous supper. President Roy Keeling then with the help of sec-tres Ken Pow presented the winners with their trophys. A grade trophy joint winners Tai Zhou and Rex Scarf. Runner up Nigel Richardson. B grade.Jessica Pelayo. C grade Jay Walker.Rapid and five minutes Ken Pow.Best outside perfomance Roy Keeling. Most improved player Jessica Pelayo.
