Andreis a mountain village nestled in the valley of Celina, once a thriving comunity of some 4000 people, the first recorded inhabitant in the year 900.
Now in the year 2001 has a registered permanant population of 451. These are predominantly of retired pensioners enjoying the calm and peaceful
atmosphere of mountain village life. The youth have migrated to areas where work is more readily available and rarely return to tne village.
