We enjoyed a perfect, calm evening at Tuapaka farm. The courses were designed to give newer orienteers a chance to experience some farmland and forest orienteering. It was great to see that a good proportion of the people who turned up fitted this category and that they seemed to arrive back with smiles.

Apologies to anyone who was affected by the late change in the location of the start triangle (sorry Greg!)

Thanks particularly to the farm managers, Phil Brooks and Jonno for allowing 
us to use this Massey farm, and for returning two sets of O signs to 
us that had been left behind at last year's event!  Also a big thank you to Joy and George who arrived early to get the event started, as I was delayed by traffic hold-ups on SH1 when returning from a day's tramping trip.
